The Bartlett Hotel And Guesthouse, San Francisco

I stayed in one of the front rooms which was very noisy as it faced a firewall. Despite staying only one night, the noisy environment could be bothersome for longer stays. The room lacked drinking glasses in the bathroom, had thin and scratchy towels, overly high pillows, and required chair-climbing to adjust the fan speed. There was no facility for making coffee or tea in the room, the safe was not functional, and the window overlooked a huge concrete wall.

The hotel had clean and spacious rooms but was noisy due to a loud ventilation system outside. The staff was helpful overall but lacked info on certain services like bus tickets and laundry. The location was very convenient with various attractions nearby, but walking at night felt a bit unsafe. Dining at the adjacent Bartlett House Pub was decent, with an option for an excellent $7 breakfast. The facilities were average, with room for improvement.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of comfort and convenience. The rooms, though facing the inner patio, were clean and comfortable, just as shown in the pictures. The early check-in request was not accommodated promptly, but the overall experience was positive.
